So my shots from Christmas Eve were taken with this awesome lens. It was nice to be able to get more of the scene. I’m not sold on buying it because of the cost, but I sure had fun with it! Here are the boys opening one gift before we headed out to visit family. I took these at 25mm, but I did crop in a little when I edited.

We visited G’s parents and went to a Christmas Eve service at their church. Then we stopped by my parents’ house for a little while.

See how you can get so much of the room at 24mm.

My mom made us homemade vanilla shakes. Alec grabbed my camera and took a few of me enjoying mine zoomed in at 70mm.

And then on Christmas Day, I was back to using my 50mm 1.4. (in bad lighting)

I hope everyone liked their gifts as much as Maisy!

Awwww, you made me blush. So blessed you got to enjoy this.

Thanks for stopping by! I love your photos! I have a 50mm 1.8 but I haven't really tried it for anything but macro-ish stuff. What aperture did you shoot these at?
ReplyDeleteI took Kim Klassen's free Photoshop Skinny Mini course this month, and have signed up for her Photoshop The Essentials which starts on the 17th. I can't recommend her enough. She's doing the free course again starting the 10th. Here's the link if you want to check it out.
