I love how the hobby of photography makes me more aware of the light all around me. I notice shadows, the direction of the light and the color of the light now whether I have my camera with me or not. And of course I’m always noticing whether or not someone has catchlights in their eyes.
The theme at foto friday is light. This was taken a few weeks ago when we had a particularly beautiful sunset. I’ve been watching the sky every evening around sunset time and we haven’t had anything like it since.
I noticed the late afternoon light coming in my window yesterday and I loved the way it lit up one side of my little vase of {fake} flowers.
I took this shot last week at Oakley Plantation. I have no idea what it is. I liked the SOOC, but it was definitely missing something.
So I added some fake golden light with pioneer woman’s sunshine action.
Love those first two! I have been stuck with interior shots this week.... temp outside is -29 :(
