Back in 2009 it would have never occurred to me to take a photo of the delicious fruit tart we enjoyed on Sunday.
But then I stumbled across Becky Higgins’ blog a little over a year ago and I’m so happy I did! When I read about her project life kit, I knew right away I wanted to do a 365 project for 2010. I love having a year of my family’s lives documented in this awesome scrapbook. It includes photos from vacations and birthday parties and our very own snow day, along with little pieces of our everyday lives like a lawnmower or kids playing football in the backyard. Of course there are lots of random shots of anything I felt like practicing my photography skills on, too! I’ll definitely be doing it again in 2011. Plus, this year I plan on posting my pictures of the day on my blog once a week and linking up to a new project 365 linky with Sarah at NapTimeMomTog.
I’m all finished with my 2010 book just in time for my new kit which arrived today! My enthusiasm is renewed and I’m ready to do it all over again!
So if I start wondering a few years from now what we did to celebrate the new year in 2011, I can just look in my scrapbook. I really should know what we did because it’s the same thing we do every New Year’s Day – watch football!
Very nice shots! Fruit tart is my favorite desert! =)

Good for you! It is a terrific achievement. I started a 365 too this year, but I am doing it on my own. I just printed up a blurb book of our entire year. While the photo quality isn't everything I'd hoped for, I am still really happy with the results and I was able to do it so fast!
