Last Saturday morning we went downtown for the weekly farmers market.

There was live music.

And lots of fruits and vegetables.

We bought some locally grown oranges and sweet potatoes.

It was a nice family outing even if the boys were a bit underwhelmed…

  4. Okay - I am really chuckling at this, because this would be OUR family EXACTLY. My husband & I would be buzzing around enjoying all the sights, sounds & smells, and our kids would be dragging along behind us. =) Oh well, at least we do things together... Glad we make the effort. Someday they will appreciate it, right?

  14. It's hard for me to imagine a farmer's market right now since I am looking at the results of a blizzard outside my window! Two days after seventy degree weather it is now 9 degrees! ~ Nice photos. I especially like that sweet potato photo.

  18. It's nice to see that there are others that can go outside during this time of year. When I get sad that I don't experience a "real" winter, I have to remind myself of all the things I, as a Floridian, can do in January that others only dream of doing. Love the pictures - you've inspired me to take a trip to my own Farmer's market this weekend.
