Last Saturday morning we went downtown for the weekly farmers market.
There was live music.
And lots of fruits and vegetables.
We bought some locally grown oranges and sweet potatoes.
It was a nice family outing even if the boys were a bit underwhelmed…
Oh, I LOVE the Farmers' Market. These make me long for spring even more. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Ours will get going again next month and I can't wait. LOVE the photo of the sweet potatoes.
ReplyDeleteI've never been! I've always wanted to. Great shots. Love the pictures of the boys!
ReplyDeleteOkay - I am really chuckling at this, because this would be OUR family EXACTLY. My husband & I would be buzzing around enjoying all the sights, sounds & smells, and our kids would be dragging along behind us. =) Oh well, at least we do things together... Glad we make the effort. Someday they will appreciate it, right?
ReplyDeleteLOVE Farmer's Markets, it's really such an "event". Also, great capture of how underwhelmed your boys were! HA!
ReplyDeleteI am so envious of all that fresh fruit! Well, and the fact that you can still have a farmer's market in January :D Love the shots - so artsy!!!
ReplyDeletegreat shots from market!!
ReplyDeletelove your photos! The fruits and vegetables look so fresh. I've never been to a farmer's market. I don't even know if we have one around here. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice day at the Farmers Market - Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat Farmer finds! I still need to go to one once ALL this snow stops here. Great photos!

ReplyDeleteSomeday I will be able to make my photos this perfect. Must be warm where you are...NICE!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteWish we had an outdoor farmer's market this time of year. Terrific orange shot.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to imagine a farmer's market right now since I am looking at the results of a blizzard outside my window! Two days after seventy degree weather it is now 9 degrees! ~ Nice photos. I especially like that sweet potato photo.
ReplyDeleteI adore farmer's markets. Where do you live that you still have a market in the winter like this? Great photos!
ReplyDeleteOkay, our farmer's market isn't nearly as fun as that one looks! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! It's so hard to imagine that somewhere people are outside enjoying farmers markets in shorts!! It is so cold and snowy here!
ReplyDeleteJo-Anna
I looove the one with all the root veggies!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that there are others that can go outside during this time of year. When I get sad that I don't experience a "real" winter, I have to remind myself of all the things I, as a Floridian, can do in January that others only dream of doing. Love the pictures - you've inspired me to take a trip to my own Farmer's market this weekend.
ReplyDeleteOH! Fresh fruit and vegetables! Makes me long for summer! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time! I love your veggies shot-- and I had to laugh at the picture of your boys...
ReplyDeleteLovely produce shots! I so wish we had a farmer's market here.
