I really didn’t like how my photos of conversation hearts turned out. Maybe I got a bad batch, but the writing was too smeared and messy on the little hearts. Then I found some sweethearts with valentine’s messages. Their writing was much neater and they taste way better, too!
I don’t usually like things decorated with hearts, but I made an exception for this heart mug that I found at Target yesterday. I love the fun colors!
I adjusted the levels slightly in photoshop elements to brighten it up. It’s not a big difference. Maybe I should have done more?
And I picked up a really cute little notebook this week. You know you can never have too many little notebooks.
Love the photos and the mug is cute! I agree with you on the little notebooks. I keep buying them too. :)
ReplyDeleteTarget is my AFAVE! Love yor new coffee mug.
ReplyDeletehello! I am stopping by from Household Diva to say Hi. I am new to your blog. I like how you composed the mug photo. Regarding the colors, you could try this and see how you like it http://www.miracrisp.com/2011/01/adjusting-color-in-photoshop.html

ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic, Deb! I really can't pick a favorite shot. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteThe hearts are so cute. And drinking coffee in one of those mugs would be very nice.
ReplyDeleteI also like buying notebooks maybe I ought to say I collect them because a lot of them are empty!!!
Thank you for what you did for Laura at Blogging from Bolivia. Your generosity is appreciated.
I had forgotten all about conversation hearts. I would so love to find some of those in my neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo with the mug! Too cute.
ReplyDeleteI love your heart pictures :) I was not fond of mine either-- but I think that is because these types of photos are overdone right now.
ReplyDeleteI should have gotten those hearts instead - they are way more legible! Love them.
ReplyDeleteSO So very cute!! Love the sweet tarts Valentines hearts :) They are so soft and subtle.
ReplyDeleteAll of these are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love the muted colors of the hearts. It's a little different Valentine look. :)

ReplyDeleteHaha, Target wins again! (I too am a sucker for all things Target, lol). Your before-and-after looks great - you brightened it up and the colors are nice, pure, and clear!

ReplyDeleteI'm also a fan of notebooks. You really can never have too many cute ones!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots! I'm going to have to find some of those Sweet Tart hearts.
ReplyDeleteI love your second heart candy photo - so simple and pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI think your clean edit with Levels is just fine. You don't always have to add crazy actions or textures to photos to make them look good. Natural beauty rocks, for people and for photos!
So many pretty colors in your photos here! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI really like how subtle your edit with the mug was. I'm a collector of plants rather than notebooks - notebooks would be a lot cheaper LOL
ReplyDeleteSo cute pastel sweets, I like them as a decoration also:)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend
Great shots! I'm suddenly feeling very Valentiney. :-)
