trees

I just love trees so I was glad the theme at live every moment is trees this week.  The first five are sooc for the theme at foto friday.
These are from last summer and fall when there was still lots of green around.

But, this one of the big live oak by the lake is from last week with the brown grass and the mostly leafless trees in the background.

The live oak is between two lakes at the back of my neighborhood. The lake on the left is man-made and the one on the right is a natural lake.  I’m fortunate that the sun sets perfectly on the natural lake so this is where I go for sunset photos.

Trees make such lovely backgrounds, too.

There’s just a few more weeks until the leaves and green grass will start appearing and that makes me so very happy!

  1. Oh how I am longing for spring...thank you for giving us some this week! Love that green grass and the green leaves! I really like the lake shot with the red canoe, and the tree backdrop with the walking across the bridge is a favorite as well!

  4. Oh, man, that first one is my favorite. The sound of wind blowing through leaves relaxes me more than ocean waves ever could, so seeing this thrilled me. Absolutely divine!

  19. Hey Deb! I don't know if I could have just one Jack because with two they keep each other company and help wear each other out! I went back a few posts and your Maisy is so cute! Thanks for coming by!
