These are from last summer and fall when there was still lots of green around.



But, this one of the big live oak by the lake is from last week with the brown grass and the mostly leafless trees in the background.

The live oak is between two lakes at the back of my neighborhood. The lake on the left is man-made and the one on the right is a natural lake. I’m fortunate that the sun sets perfectly on the natural lake so this is where I go for sunset photos.


Trees make such lovely backgrounds, too.


There’s just a few more weeks until the leaves and green grass will start appearing and that makes me so very happy!


Oh how I am longing for spring...thank you for giving us some this week! Love that green grass and the green leaves! I really like the lake shot with the red canoe, and the tree backdrop with the walking across the bridge is a favorite as well!

Oh how I agree I wish it was Spring!!! It's sooo super cold here today. Beautiful shots and I really love the boys on the bridge!!
ReplyDeleteOh, man, that first one is my favorite. The sound of wind blowing through leaves relaxes me more than ocean waves ever could, so seeing this thrilled me. Absolutely divine!
ReplyDeleteI love the foto friday - the trees. Are GREEN. I so miss the green look of spring. I want to get a blanket and lay under the tree in the second photo :) Yes its time for the snow to thaw ;)
