It’s time for the azaleas to bloom around here. It’s a very colorful time of year! There were lots of bees buzzing around, but none of them would cooperate with me and stop moving long enough in the right spot for me to get a good photo. I’ll have to try again, but I have a feeling I’m going to get stung before I get a good one.
What beautiful azaleas and I just love the photo of the bee too - they really are hard to capture and you did a good job of catching that one. I love the pale pink azaleas and your two photos of those are just lovely.
Great job Deb!!!! You did get the saturation right on those super vibrant ones we talked about. It can be so hard. I found it so much easier to capture the pink ones rather than my red. I must now find that gorgeous fushia that you have there. WOW.
They were SO gorgeous this year and your shots of them are wonderful!! Love the two of the light pink ones. Unfortunately the storm last night pretty much annihilated most of the blooms around here. I got many pics too though, so it's all good. :)
I think my favorite is the one with the bee! I love the different "perspective" of it. And... I SO wish we had azaleas in our neck of the woods! Oh well. Nancy-of the crazy 8
I love your pictures!!! I live in the outskirts of Baton Rouge. I just fulfilled a dream of creating a blog incorporating my pictures. I am on a huge learning curve but having so much fun. Your blog gives me so much inspiration. Thank you.
I love it! I keep telling my husband we should sell our house and buy one full of old charm that will have an oak tree in the yard so I can plant azaleas all around. :) that would be a view!
I love love love the azaleas!! They are one of my favorite things about living in the south :) You captured them beautifully...thanks for sharing!
