My camera and I took a walk yesterday at a nearby park. I was hoping for loads of wildflowers, but apparently spring is over and summer will be here soon. I only found a few tiny weeds blooming.
They've added some bird houses throughout the park.
I like their new sign explaining the fishing rules for the tiny pond.
I tried not to get too close to the poison ivy climbing up the tree so it was hard to get the angle I wanted for this one.
I don’t know what this weed is. I need to remember to stop by again to see what they look like when the buds open.
When I got home I stepped outside to take a few pics in my backyard. Remember my post last week about my failed attempt to capture a photo of my feeder with an actual bird? Well, this time when I walked outside all the birds flew away, except for this little guy. He stayed still long enough for me to get a nice portrait of him looking into the camera!
And just a couple more from my yard of the first iris bloom of the season.
All of these photos were taken with my 100mm 2.8L macro lens - my favorite lens when I’m not shooting people.
stunning shots!!
