Everyone enjoyed eating them. They were spicy and delicious and we had a lot of them. You can’t take photos and peel crawfish at the same time so I had to put my camera down for a while.

Here’s a pic I scanned in of Johnny showing Mason how to eat crawfish ten years ago when he was three.

So I made sure to get a photo of Mason and his Uncle Johnny with their crawfish again.

I haven't had crawfish in like 15 years - but they look really yummy.
ReplyDeletemmm, your shots are making me salivate - that table full of food!! BUT, as a Florida Gator - I have to take issue with that LSU hat I saw :)
ReplyDeleteOh I have not done that in a long time...love the flash back shot:)

ReplyDeleteHi Deb
ReplyDeleteI could never eat those but your photos are great of the fish and the corn cobs. You all look as if you had a wonderful time.
how fun, we visited New Orleans a few years ago and they served us a crawdad boil down at a little place in the old farmers market. It was so fun when they brought the pot and dumped it on our table. loved your shots. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteWe had a crawfish boil last weekend as well. So fun, aren't they?! Great captures!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great time you all seem to be having. You really captured the delicious enthusiasm of the whole day. Great shots!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh- first my kids would be so excited to see those & get to pick them up. Then my hubs would be super excited to eat all that- he loves it. The kids do too- but all around they would have been in heaven.
ReplyDeleteWOW - that looks like quite an adventure ;D
ReplyDeleteHaving craw fish gets together reminded me of the time I lived in New Orleans. This looks so divine!
