crawfish

Last weekend we had a crawfish boil with our family.  It was a lot of fun!  In the past we’ve just bought them already boiled, but this year we did it ourselves.  By “we” I mean Brent and Johnny, and they did a great job.  I just took the photos as usual. The kids loved checking them out.

Everyone enjoyed eating them.  They were spicy and delicious and we had a lot of them.  You can’t take photos and peel crawfish at the same time so I had to put my camera down for a while.

Here’s a pic I scanned in of Johnny showing Mason how to eat crawfish ten years ago when he was three.

So I made sure to get a photo of Mason and his Uncle Johnny with their crawfish again.

  13. how fun, we visited New Orleans a few years ago and they served us a crawdad boil down at a little place in the old farmers market. It was so fun when they brought the pot and dumped it on our table. loved your shots. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
