i heart faces: pets

Don’t ask me how I got Maisy to sit still long enough for a photo.  It’s rare, but every now and then she does calm down.  You just have to be ready when the moment is right!

  4. What a beauty! With her high energy I am thinking she must be a Jack Russell Terrier. Lovely spring setting amidst the flowers. A great image.

  6. Aaw! I have TWO Jack Russell's and yes, it's very rare for them to calm down enough to take a sweet photo like this! It's a great spring photo!

  7. Awwww adorable! And I had a rat terrier - much like the Jack Russell, they're always on the move.

  12. Adorable picture! I totally know how that feels. Baxter is Jack Russell Terrier mix, and he's so energetic. We did not research the breed, and we chose him on impulse. I don't regret it, but whoa!

Are you all in a fenced in backyard? Baxter cannot be off a leash even for a second. He's such a flight risk, but I hear this is common with that breed.
