
When we peeked inside last weekend this is what we found - five brand new baby birds.

After they heard my camera click, they started opening their mouths as wide as they could.


They were so tiny and obviously very hungry. I hope it didn’t take the mama too long to get back with the next meal. :)

ReplyDeleteAdorable! We had some wrens fledge recently... it was cool watching the whole process... the building of the nest... the tiny peeps from the nest and finally watching them fly away.

ReplyDeleteThese photos are amazing! We have two nests in the wreath on our front porch. At first I could see eggs, but now it seems that the mama has repositioned them so they are not photograph-able - how about THAT?
