magenta flowers

Unlike me, my mother-in-law loves to garden. This is an unusual flower I found in her backyard. It's called cashmere bouquet.

At first it looks like a bunch of little beads.

And then the little beads start to open.

The zinnias in her garden aren't so unusual, but they are some of my favorites.  They are such pretty, simple flowers.

  15. It's too cold here for those beautiful zinnias and that cashmere flower looks ever so pretty like tiny little starbursts. It resembles the buds on my kalmia bush just now only mine are more of a scarlet colour.
