I've never been a big fan of purple. Maybe I should consider changing my attitude about the color. After all, the tigers are purple and gold and I can't deny it's a fabulous color for flowers. Our visit to Bellingrath Gardens last weekend was amazing. My camera was busy the entire time we were there so that's always fun! Here are some of the purplish flowers that I though were extra pretty. I have lots more to share from Bellingrath real soon, maybe even tomorrow if I can get it together.

This last flower isn't from Bellingrath Gardens. It's from Susan's yard. Did you know she lives across the street from me? We spent the afternoon yesterday talking about photoshop. Doesn't that sound fun? It's nice having a friend that loves photography as much as me.

ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Post Of The Month Club! XOLaura
Your opening sentence made me giggle Deb as I've never really been a fan of purple unless it is a deep royal hue. There was a time when I would disparagingly refer to it as 'menopausal mauve' which is dreadful on many levels.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased that you hopped on the HH link this month as I've discovered you, your wonderful space and the gift of these glorious blooms.
Happy day!
