time to shave

The other day Alec looked at Mason and told him he needed to shave.  Mason asked me if he could and I said, "Sure, go ahead."  Alec told him he would show him how. I grabbed my iPhone and followed them to take some pics, of course!

All of you that have those little babies and toddlers, believe me, this happens faster than you think. They were two little boys playing with cars and trucks on the floor not too long ago and now they're shaving...

I love these photos even if they are kind of poor quality and I'm thankful that they are such good brothers to each other.

They were taken with my old iPhone 3GS. I upgraded to the new iPhone last weekend.  The camera is much better on the 4S so maybe I'll start using it more. For those of you wondering if the upgrade is worth it, I must say the voice recognition is incredible! I may never type a text message again! I love how you can ask her to remind you about things throughout the day.  And you can ask her just about anything. If she doesn't know the answer, she'll send you to a google search to find out. And she actually understands you!

  1. I have 2 little boys, 8 & 5, & I can't imagine how strange it will be watching them shave for the first time one day! I hope my boys stay as close as your's are, as they are best friends & best brothers right now. :)

  2. As a mother of boys, this is just so cute to me! And you are right, I was shocked when the shaving started at 13, instead of 16 like I was expecting. :)

  6. Giggle, giggle, being the mom of a 14 year old boy I'm loving this. Mine is so camera shy though that I don't know if he would let me do this or not . . . but I think I'll have a little while as there are no signs of needing to shave just yet! Thanks for sharing this Deb it's just so darn cute!!

  7. The years pass by way to quickly for me.
It's great to see your children when they get on so well and want to look out for each other like your boys.
My 3 girls are aged between 16 and 22 and I love it when they are so close - I almost feel left out lol. We must have done something right don't you think.

My sister just got the 4GS, she loves it. I have the 4 and have no time for new gadgets that can speak back to me (-:

  41. Now you're ready to shave. Generally it's better to shave after taking a shower, as this will soften your whiskers and open the pores on your face- making a closer shave within your reach.
