It's good when you happen to have your camera next to you on the front seat of the car. You never know what you may come across while out and about. I tried to stop and get out the first time I passed them, but they were shy and ran away. So the next time I stopped in the middle of the road... I'm glad nothing was behind me... and I took these through the window with my 50mm.
I had to be quick. In another moment they were back in their pasture which is on the other side of this backdrop of fall colors.
I haven't played with textures in a while so I added the phoebe and pourvous textures to this one. And then I desaturated a bit and added a slight edge burn.
Simply beautiful shots of those beautiful horses! I really like your texture on the last one - it really makes it memorable.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. Glad you had your camera with you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful horses! :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful animals and your shots and editing are so great...love them!!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I hear you about having the camera right next to you in the car - never know what you'll encounter along the journey.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I always have my camera with me on the front seat but I'll see something I want to photograph while I'm driving and I don't have the opportunity to stop and take a picture or there's someone behind me and no place to pull off the road. One day I'm just gonna be holding up traffic though because I want a picture bad enough!
