autumn horses

It's good when you happen to have your camera next to you on the front seat of the car. You never know what you may come across while out and about. I tried to stop and get out the first time I passed them, but they were shy and ran away. So the next time I stopped in the middle of the road... I'm glad nothing was behind me... and I took these through the window with my 50mm.

I had to be quick. In another moment they were back in their pasture which is on the other side of this backdrop of fall colors.

I haven't played with textures in a while so I added the phoebe and pourvous textures to this one. And then I desaturated a bit and added a slight edge burn.

  5. Great shots! I always have my camera with me on the front seat but I'll see something I want to photograph while I'm driving and I don't have the opportunity to stop and take a picture or there's someone behind me and no place to pull off the road. One day I'm just gonna be holding up traffic though because I want a picture bad enough!
