I love the look of the hipstamatic iPhone app, but I really don't take all that many photos with my phone. I found a fun action for photoshop that mimics the histaminic look. So I tried it out on a few recent favorites...
I added a layer of the "and then some" texture to this one.
Lovely series of pictures! especially the last one, love everything about it - the subject because it looks delicious, but also the colors and focus are great!
The strawberry, tap and butterfly are all great!! seriously lovely shots wth textures. I use textures that much and its clear I should! (not too confident with my elements 9 though) I should experiment more. Just working on my halloween round up post now. I don't use iphone... im on android. What's the method on photoshop or is it just a certain texture you've used on all these? jennie. x
Oh these are so cool! I really love the graveyard shot. Very spooky for Halloween! And your butterfly - amazing! Thanks for the action link. I'm off to check it out!
I had to do a double take. I read Hipstamatic and jumped to the photos and wondered why my iPhone was not taking photos like these...then I scrolled back up :) I love the action...I am totally downloading. Great photos! I love the buttery capture.
Deb, these pics are fantastic. I love all of them especially the cemetery shot - I have always had a fascination with the strangely picturesque qualities of markers and iron railings in the old, old graveyards and the histories to be found in the epitaphs.
These are all so stinkin' beautiful, Deb! I think we need to meet up and go for a photo walk in that cemetery. The wrought iron is absolutely stunning. Love your little strawberry! How did you get it to stand up? :) Thanks for joining us again in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge. I can't wait to see what you come up with on Friday when we move on to our new theme, purple. Have a great day! :)
