During week one, I was definitely on a break from my big camera. The only photo on the whole layout from my dslr was the one of my boys on the first day back to school after the Christmas break (which explains the sad faces). The other 4x6 photos were all taken with my phone.
The first day of the year included a trip to get some yogurt and some scrap supplies organizing. I printed two instagrams at about 2.25" square and adhered them to one of the larger journaling cards. Click here for instructions on how to print your instagram photos.
I journaled about the boys' first day back on the same card with a pic from meeting a friend for a visit at a coffee shop.
I printed an instagram pic from Mason's basketball game at about 3.5" and adhered it to cardstock cut to fit in the 4x6 pocket. It would probably have looked cute to decorate the left side, but I'm all about keeping it simple. Every now and then I feel like being a bit more scrappy, but usually not.
I don't usually include a lot of ephemera, but this time I added some movie ticket stubs to a journaling card with my tiny attacher.
I am really enjoying the Clementine kit! These softer colors are new for me, but I love how the blacks and blues and oranges work so great together... and there's even a bit of pink here and there. Well, the pink didn't make into week one, but you'll be seeing it soon. :)

This looks great! I almost got that kit! I am hoping the layouts are back in stock this week so I can actually put it together!
