And now, many years later, Alec finally has his own jeep. He is one happy fellow...
It's been a fun time. I found out that I actually enjoy riding around with the top down. I thought I was too old and mature to enjoy such things... but I guess not. :)
Cute, love the color!
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo awesome!!! Love these photos and the yellow. So cool.
ReplyDeleteHow fun for your son! Great pictures too.
ReplyDeleteI love that your boys don't shy away from the camera. I wish my kids were like that. How exciting that Alex has his own car. My son turns 16 this May and doesn't even have his permit yet. He's in no rush and neither is his mom :)
ReplyDeleteSorry, I meant AleC :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not that much into cars, but that looks so cool!
ReplyDeleteThat´s so cool - even I´m envious and my boys would definately be! :-) You have such handsome sons. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool car - Alec must be very excited about having it. I know my husband would have loved a jeep - still would in fact. Hope he has lots of fun in it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I've always wanted a Jeep however it's never come to reality. Maybe for my mid life cisis!! Hope he enjoys it!
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm your 400th follower:)
ReplyDeleteThat jeep looks like such a blast. Hope he has a fun time making it his own!

wow, that's so awesome, our family would like a jeep so badly! have fun with it! (although I'm sure you will :))
ReplyDeleteawesomesauce! nothing better than your first vehicle! and a fun one like that makes it even better! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever be too old to enjoy riding in a Jeep....top down/off. Actually, I think with each year, I become more and more comfortable with myself {meaning, I never would have put my hair in a pony tail back in the 80's or in a bun, for that matter - which is a must do when riding through the wind} ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for him! His very OWN JEEP. Awesome.
How cool for him!!! I drive a Liberty. Love it and would someday love to get a Wrangler!!
ReplyDeletesuch fun shots! I love the second one especially, he must be so excited!
ReplyDeleteCool jeep, great fun in the summer especially.
ReplyDeletewhat fun for everyone!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteI just love the picture of him so little and now grown up. Wicked awesome jeep and you can tell it's his baby...lol
ReplyDeleteChamp's second car (so our college ride) was a Geo Tracker- like a matchbox sized jeep- and we loved it!!!! The warmer months were that much more exciting to drive around in with the top down. Happy driving Alec!
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed that he can drive a stick! And that is one cool ride!! My first (and only so far) car was a saab convertible, but the top got stuck if I took it down, not great in January in New Jersey! Hope he drives it in good health!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun...we ended up with a Subaru. First car memories. When did I get old enough to have a son that can drive? It all goes by so fast.

How exciting! Great color! And I love that you have a picture of him "driving" a jeep when he was little.
ReplyDeleteBoy Joy!
ReplyDeleteAw, good for him! It looks good on him. I bet it is fun to ride with the wind blowing in your hair.... ;)
ReplyDeleteLove that you have that 1st pic! Ahhh your baby is all grown up, but I'm sure, will always be you baby! Love the yellow!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that! He certainly looks happy! : )
ReplyDeleteLove the shirt when he was little. Ha!!
Good for him! I love jeeps, too. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Alec! That's a beautiful color!! If there is such a thing as a specific-car-person, I am a Jeep person. I love Alec's new car!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooooo exciting!!!! I love that he's a Jeeper!! We are big on Jeep here. My in-laws actually started the Jeepers group out in CA that started trailing the Rubicon. We have a Cherokee Sport that has been in my family for so long- my brothers & I used to ride in the back as kids out to the river to spend the weekend on the boat. It's now mine & we are restoring it so it will be my son's in 2 years. I think it's so cool that he wants his first car to be the one that has so much history- including him coming home from the hospital in it.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy for Alec! What a pretty color too. So much fun!
