Okay, now let's see what you've been shooting!
It's such a lovely time of year, huh!? Beautiful detail in these, Deb.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a pear blossom before, my they are pretty and they sort of look like the inside of pear!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
~Andrea
beautiful captures!! i'm just learning to use a higher f-stop w macro for better focal point... love how crisp those little stamen are! :)
ReplyDeleteand btw, can't thank you enough for the instagram referral! i love it!! :))
They are so crisp and bright!! We had a super early blooming and then a hard freeze, so the rest of our spring blooms might be all mucked up now )-: But these will satisfy my desire to see spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely Deb, the white of the flower next to the blue sky looks wonderful. I love nice weather :))
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I love the ones where you captured the sky in the background.
ReplyDeleteEveryone's pics are beautiful. I'm just a novice. I entered "The Tulip", but I aspire to get a good camera and lens and take better pictures. Loved them all! Sarah Carletti
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!! I really love the last one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and delicate blossoms Dem - I love when fruit trees bloom! :-)
ReplyDeleteHello Deborah,
ReplyDeleteSomething so satisfying about white blossom.
Especially when they provide fruit as well.
Love the way the blue sky does its bit so subtly in the last two images.
Oh, those are just gorgeous! What incredible detail!
ReplyDeleteOh Deb, these are so pretty. I especially love the last one!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! ~Sally
Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteThose macros are so beautiful Deb. Thanks for sharing. :) x
ReplyDeleteThese are really beautiful! Thanks for including your settings, macro photography is new to me and I appreciate all the help I can get! What was your shutter setting?
ReplyDeleteThank you! My shutter speed was 1/800 and the iso was 100. It doesn't really matter what these settings are. You just want to set your iso as low as you can while still maintaining a shutter speed fast enough to prevent camera shake. And that just depends on how still you can be and also the longer the lens the faster it needs to be. I like it to be at least 1/100 and faster if possible.
DeleteSo beautiful. I missed blooms...
ReplyDeleteLovely Deb, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteTiffany
That clear blue sky is a perfect backdrop for these lovely blooms.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pear blossoms! Love the definition of the pollen in the last one!
ReplyDeleteAnd you inspired my pictures today with your post from last Thursday!
I'm so glad that you were able to capture them. You always do such a beautiful job. These are so lovely. I am really looking forward to all your spring & summer posts coming up because I remember last year they were amazing!!!!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous macros Deb! Love that blue sky behind those dainty flowers ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got them. I totally missed here. One day they were blooming, the next it rained, and now they are gone. Boo hoo. Love yours!
ReplyDeleteOh they are SO pretty! And one of my favorite fruits too... :)
ReplyDeleteThose are stunning shots! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, those are so pretty! I'm waiting for my apple and plum trees to blossom :)
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous. Some of the edges of the leaves look like they were frosted.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle a bit, I've forgotten about pictures too. And they're so pretty, which leaves me wondering how could I forget?
Very pretty! So glad you didn't miss them!
ReplyDeletelove those tiny dark seed flecks against their delicate petals.

Gorgeous blossom! :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Deb! I love this time of year. I just wish the blossoms stayed on the trees longer.
ReplyDeleteThey are so lovely and like Lisa mentioned. They do need to stay longer. You did a great job! Thanks for sharing as we are into snow today and weekend . Where did Spring go????????
ReplyDeletebeautiful beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Some time until our pear tree will bloom.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Mette
I enjoyed each and every shot. Beautifully taken!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! Your images are always so crisp. I can't wait until our blooms open...another week or so I think. Thanks for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I was just thinking, how sharp these beautiful blossoms are, gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I adore the light in that second shot.
ReplyDeleteI love that second shot too! You always get such great detail with that lens. I need to stop down on mine. I tend to shoot wide open and I know a smaller aperture would give me more DOF on the macros.
ReplyDeleteI agree that a great monarch shot would be a great Bucket list item!
Beautiful Pear blossoms Deb! Great shots! The second is my favourite. Thanks for hosting :)
