I admit I've been totally neglecting my dslr for my iphone lately. But it's photos like these that get me excited to do some shooting. I overlooked this one on the first pass because the bee isn't tack sharp (you can't tell so much on the smaller web files though). I decided I don't care because I love the soft blues and greens with the bright yellow and I love the way the flower is tilted just so and the little bee is going about his work oblivious to the fact that he's posing just right for me.
Wow - amazing bokeh! Love how many colors are in the shot, that you might not realize otherwise!
ReplyDeleteLovely!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love all the colors you were able to find!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour palate of this picture as well as the subject. I try often to get pictures of bees. I did a post a long time ago about bee's and how we need to encourage them.

Absolutely beautiful! I just love those soft muted colours in the background - they work wonderfully with the yellow of the flower, and the colour palette is so, so pretty.

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh that's so pretty and the soft colours in the bokeh contrast so well with the yellow daisy.
