watercolor papers

Just a quick post today to tell you about something fun and new in the Studio Calico shop! I'm so excited about the watercolor papers - a set of forty different colors on 2"x2" papers that have a heavy film of highly concentrated color.

Such a beautiful collection of colors! I can't wait to try them out!!

You will also need a water brush. They are available in small and medium.

Tina Aszmus shared a tutorial on how to use these watercolor papers on the Studio Calico blog here. It looks like they will be perfect for making fun backgrounds or coloring in stamp images. Just what I've been wanting to try, but now I don't have to figure out which paints to buy and find space to store them!

  1. These are an interesting idea. I haven't used watercolours in forever! They'd be fun to use to colour stamps...
