beach minibook with the pier

I created a little minibook to document our beach trip using the Crate Paper Pier collection for the Crate blog. Minibooks are fun to make and the perfect way to document a vacation!

Here's a look at the finished minibook -

The prep was easy because I created a silhouette cut file for the base pages. You can download the free .studio file here

If you are cutting your pages manually, the dimensions are 5.75x4.25 inches. Score a line one inch from the left side. Punch a hole for the ribbon about one inch from the top and bottom centered in the one-inch section.

Once I had my pages ready and my cover completed, I printed my photos at 2.5" square and gathered embellishments to match my pages.

I created each page with a photo and embellishments from The Pier. The last page includes a pocket from the Party Day collection that I filled with journaling about our trip.

Once I was done with the inside, I tied the pages together with a ribbon. Here's the finished minibook!

I love to make minibooks, but they are usually very time consuming. This one came together much faster than the others I've made. That's a good thing because I always have more ideas for scrapbooking than I have time!

  1. That came out super cute! Sometimes it's just as fun to keep the memories wrapped in a small package than a huge album - you've got the eye for that!

  6. How amazing is this! I'm gonna start making something similar as well, or at least print some photos on paper and make an album.. probably won't come out as nice as yours!
