I made a quick and simple card to share with you today. I've been wanting to use my Dear Lizzy Serendipity die set. The flowers are really cute cut out of patterned paper. I also used my awesome Lawn Fawn hello die which in my opinion is the perfect font for a little hello.
Here's what I started with -
Here are the details -
1. cut and score a standard card base - 4.25 x 5.5
2. cut the background patterned paper to just under 4 x 5.25. I eyeballed it just to make sure I had a nice narrow border around my card.
3. cut the hello and flower shapes out of patterned paper
4. adhere the background to the card base with foam tape
5. assemble the flower with liquid glue and attach it to the card with foam dots
6. cut the foam dots into tiny pieces to adhere the hello die cut.
The circle die that I used for the flower center is part of the MFT blueprints #12 set. The yellow patterned paper is from the Studio Calico Lemon Lush collection and the papers I used on the flowers were leftovers from past Studio Calico card kits. Hope you enjoyed this super quick card!

wanna build a snowman card
I've been a bit obsessed lately with making cards. After doing Project Life for five years, I'm taking a break right now (not sure for how long!). But I still love playing with paper and creating things so cards are the perfect way to continue doing what I love to do.
Another thing I'm obsessed with lately... snowmen. I live somewhere that only sees snow maybe once every 10 years so I don't have a lot of experience with real life snowmen, but I just think they are the cutest things ever, especially on a card. I used a Studio Calico snowman stamp that's no longer available on this card, but there are so many cute snowmen stamp options. I have this one and this one (linked below also) on the way to me now. You'll be seeing some cards soon with them!
So here is my first of many snowman cards!
For the background I used distress inks (peacock feathers and salty ocean) applied with a blending tool on watercolor paper. I used a hillside die to make a mask that I taped to the paper so that the bottom of the card looks like a hill. I added the snowman with dimensional adhesive and I added the whole piece to my card base with foam tape to pop it up just a little. The last touches were little snow dots added with a gelly roll white pen and wink of stella glitter added to the sentiment, scarf, buttons and hat.

december daily: the rest
Is anyone still working on their December Daily album? I am happy to say I am completely done. I spent quite a lot of hours on this album and finished about a week ago. It was a lot of fun, but a bit too time consuming! I think I will go with something much more simple next year... like maybe make every page the same. Or maybe by next year I'll forget how much work it was and do it all over again! We will see.
So here are the rest of my pages. Check out my last few posts if you want to see days one through seven.
Okay, that was a lot of pages! Stay tuned to my blog for some cards coming soon. I've been obsessed with stamping and making cards lately and I'll be sharing them here!
