thinking of you card

It seems you can never have too many flower cards, and I especially love the Simon Says Stamp Favorite Flowers stamp set! The scribble style of the flowers is so fun, plus the dots and wavy lines are the perfect accents for the flowers. On this card I mixed the Favorite Flowers set with the Friendly Flowers stamp set.

The details: The card base is a standard A2 size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The white panel was cut with the second largest of the Lawn Fawn large stitched rectangles and the green background was cut from the largest of the rectangles. Some of the flowers I stamped directly on the white panel and some I stamped and cut out so I could layer them with foam adhesive. The sentiment and green dot paper are from some of my past Studio Calico card kits.

In the background, the voice in my head is whispering to me, “What Happens If You Fail Your Dissertation?” Hence, if I were to make this card, I would definitely dedicate it to my dissertation because that is the only thing I am thinking about right now.
