simon says stamp favorite flowers

It makes me happy when one stamp set inspires multiple cards. Today's card is the third one I've made with the Simon Says Stamp Favorite Flowers stamp set. I really do love these whimsical flowers! This time I used masking paper to stamp all the flowers on one layer, rather than cutting them out and layering them like I did on this card and this one.

Here are the details on how I made this card. The card base is a standard A2 size, 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 out of Neenah solar white 80 lb cardstock. The front panel was cut with the largest of these stitched rectangle dies out of the same white cardstock. I first stamped the flowers and leaves on the masking paper, and cut each one out very carefully.

Then I arranged the masks on the panel, and stamped the vine circle first. I removed the masks one at a time as I stamped the flowers and leaves, saving the red flower, which appears to be on top, for last.

I replaced the masks where needed to add some dots and squiggly lines from the stamp set. The masking paper has a sticky back that can be removed and reapplied with no problem.

I stamped the sentiment, then added the panel to the card base with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day!
